Hafidzi Razali is a Director in Consulum’s Malaysia office.
Hafidzi identifies gaps in policy and strategic communications, applying his knowledge of Malaysia’s development goals, and helps clients develop effective tools towards improving project delivery. He advocates for a whole-of-government approach, with a focus on fostering collaboration with local and global partners.
Hafidzi is a qualified lawyer and policy specialist with an in-depth understanding of the complex inner workings of the Malaysian government. He has advised both public and private sector organizations on trade and investment into new markets; advising on the navigation of regulatory barriers, crisis management, and shaping communication narratives towards strategic interests. Hafidzi has also participated in reform projects both in Malaysia and abroad, and understands the importance of effective management of key stakeholders.
Previously, Hafidzi was Director at an American strategic advisory firm where he managed a multinational portfolio with engagements extending up to the Prime Minister’s Office. He has also managed the law reform unit of the Securities Commission Malaysia, a post he held after serving a two-year tenure in Kigali as a foreign advisor to Rwanda’s Ministry of Trade & Industry under the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office program. Hafidzi graduated with a Master of Law as a Fulbright and Dean’s scholar from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
