David McIntosh

David advises governments on economic development, investment promotion, and complex infrastructure projects.
He has more than 20 years of experience in roles supporting trade development and attracting international investment, including senior roles in the Italian Trade Agency and the UK Department for International Trade focussed on attracting high-value investment and working with energy developers, infrastructure companies, suppliers and institutional investors. In the private energy sector, he developed international business partnerships and commercial agreements. He has also has advised multi-nationals and institutional investors on their strategies and engagement with Government.
Through his career David has developed specific expertise working with governments, embassies, Investment Promotion Agencies, Export Credit Agencies and other supernational bodies, including the World Bank towards economic development, investment promotion, and strategic industry partnerships .
