About Mark

Mark leads Consulum’s Capacity Building practice and has more than thirty years of diplomatic (multilateral), private sector (public affairs), and international organisations (capacity building) experience serving in the Middle East, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the UK.

Before Consulum, he was a member of the leadership team at the OPCW when the Organisation won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2013, and he led capacity building and implementation programmes in more than 100 States across the globe.

He established and led the UN investigations team into the alleged use of Chemical Weapons in Syria and the Commonwealth Secretariat’s programme to Counter Violent Extremism in the Caribbean, Africa and Asia/Pacific.

He has an MBA in Strategic Corporate Finance and Governance and is a non-resident fellow at the Stimson Foundation in Washington, D.C.
