John Slinger

John is global head of Consulum’s event communications division.

John’s event communications team applies Consulum’s core philosophy of integrating strategy, communications and policy to deliver events with the substance required to achieve clients’ business and communications goals. This ranges from establishing global positioning and enhancing reputation, demonstrating thought leadership, promoting inward investment, advancing a policy goal or more.

John is a specialist at engaging with prominent media organisations to secure event coverage and partnerships, managing social, digital and paid campaigns, and mitigating and handling crises.

John has led Consulum’s teams over several years to deliver high-impact events in the US, UK, France and the Gulf region, including events partnering with UN agencies, and activations at the World Economic Forum, Bloomberg Global Business Forum and during the UN General Assembly.
